TopTier was founded by Reuven Agassi's son Shai Agassi.

A year earlier, TopManage's sister company, TopTier, had also been acquired by SAP. TopManage founders Reuven Agassi and Gadi Shamia were given executive positions at SAP following the acquisition. In March 2002, SAP purchased TopManage Financial Systems and branded their system as SAP Business One. In 2000 TopManage started its global expansion into markets in Europe and Latin America. In its first years, TopManage was sold in the Israeli market only, and was the first Windows/Mac business management product to be offered in the Israeli market. The product was designed by Gadi Shamia and the head developer was Hilla Mazinter.

The company was founded by Reuven Agassi (CEO) and Gadi Shamia (VP of sales, marketing and product). We go to market with traditional reps.SAP Business One was initially launched in Israel in 1996 under the name "Menahel" ("manager") or "TopManage", for countries out of Israel. Some background : We are a 50-75 employee company with multi locations for warehousing and one location for Mfg. What are some potential pitfalls that we should be on the lookout for with either systems? This is a rather critical time for the company and I'd hate for us to venture into 10 years of pain with this investment. SAP B1 on the other hand has had very polished deliverables thus far, it may also be due to the fact that we are working with a gold level VAR. I've already read plenty of good about them but we are with reserve.
#SAP BUSINESS ONE VS NETSUITE SOFTWARE#
Needless to say though, we're not discounting the software bc of some bad presentations. I've read some horrible things about netsuite such as internal jokes from their own developers and support team calling their sales team as their sales avoidance team bc of the crappy job they do. My company is currently vetting netsuite and SAP business one, they are the last two and we will proceed with one of them.Ĭurrently, netsuite has brought weak presentations to the table and it seems like we're talking to a brick wall with our sales rep.
